Job Summary:

The Online Sales Manager will be responsible for driving online sales, developing and executing e-commerce strategies, and enhancing Hardware World’s digital presence. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in digital sales, excellent customer service orientation, and a passion for data-driven growth strategies. The Online Sales Manager will oversee the company’s e-commerce website, partner platforms, and online advertising campaigns to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-commerce Management:
    • Oversee and manage the company’s e-commerce website, ensuring products, pricing, promotions, and brand representation are up-to-date.
    • Optimize product listings, enhance search engine visibility, and implement effective merchandising strategies.
    • Partner with the IT and web design team to improve user experience, website functionality, and checkout processes.
  2. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute an online sales strategy that aligns with Hardware World’s goals, including annual sales targets and profit objectives.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling online promotional campaigns, including flash sales, discounts, and product launches.
  3. Digital Marketing:
    • Work with the digital marketing team to plan and execute social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and other online advertising campaigns.
    • Monitor performance and optimize campaigns to ensure maximum ROI on ad spend.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze sales data, website traffic, and conversion rates. Provide insights to adjust strategies and improve results.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  5. Customer Engagement and Retention:
    • Manage the customer journey from acquisition to post-purchase experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Respond to customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback on various online channels, maintaining a professional and customer-focused image.
  6. Product Development and Inventory Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
    • Analyze online demand and recommend new products or category expansion based on customer preferences.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in online sales, digital marketing, or e-commerce management, preferably in the hardware or retail sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
    • Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising.
    • Knowledge of online marketing, CRM tools, and data analysis software.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret sales data and customer trends.
    • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
